Mark Yates hailed a performance to be proud of as his Harriers side dispatched play-off rivals Crawley Town at Aggborough on Tuesday night.
Goals from Keith Lowe and Justin Richards sealed an impressive 2-0 win in what was a one-sided affair that starts another little run for Harriers of three games unbeaten.
Speaking after the match, boss Yates praised his players for matching their opponents' commitment and effort.
He explained: "I said last week that it was about picking up points and if you can get a performance along the way then great - tonight I got that; a proper performance and one the lads can be proud of - they've beaten a very good side.
"We had to stand up to them and match their commitment and their effort and we did that, and we played as well.
"We're right in there and we feel we can go on a run. That's three unbeaten now; two wins and three clean sheets.
"We've done a lot on the training ground since the Cambridge game, but when the players play with the application, dedication and quality they played with tonight, we can beat anybody."
Richards struck for the first time in the league since December to cap a vintage performance, whilst the likes of Matthew Barnes-Homer and Daryl Knights thrived on the occasion.
"We played some great stuff at times and were a real threat," added Yates.
"My two strikers, and Darryl just off them, caused [Crawley] an unbelievable amount of problems.
"There were a few performances that were as good as people have given for a little while and I thought it spread through the team, it got us a deserved three points."
Up next for Harriers is a Saturday trip to a Lewes side almost destined for a return to Blue Square South football.
That alone makes them a dangerous commodity - especially given that Harriers have won just four times away from home all season long in the BSP.
"It's going to be a long journey down there; we can't find the funds for an overnight stay which is disappointing," the Manager continued.
"But we'll prepare properly and go down on Saturday morning. I've just said to them, well done for tonight, but I want the same on Saturday."
