A thrilled Mark Yates hailed his team's latest triumph, last night's 5-1 win at Woking, a 'near-perfect' performance.
The win in Surrey kept Harriers unbeaten run going, stretching it to an eighth game as Matthew Barnes-Homer gabbed a brace with Keith Lowe, Chris McPhee and Brian Smikle also getting on target.
"It was important that we came down here and kept our run going," said boss Yates after the game.
"Every game is big, whether you're playing a team at the top or a team at the bottom.
"We saw [Woking] against Cambridge on Monday night and they battled and battled and deserved something out of the game.
"We wanted to get at them quickly…. It was important we set about our task quickly and in that respect it was a pretty near-perfect performance."
Though admitting it was a thoroughly professional all-round display, Yates had words of praise for his front pairing, including Barnes-Homer who notched his tally for the season up to 17.
"I thought he was outstanding - he was unplayable at times," added the Manager.
"I thought Justin was excellent as well - everyone can be pleased with their performance.
"Without over-exaggerating, I was a little bit disappointed not to be six or seven up at half time - we missed a couple of chances and the goalkeeper made a couple of good saves.
"At half time it was game over and I asked my players to be professional, and they were.
"We saw it out well and were still very good in the second half - we didn't quite have to play with that urgency."
