Man of the Match and assistant boss John Finnigan admits that Harriers are brimming with confidence at the moment after seeing off Histon to record another fine home win at Aggborough on Saturday.
There may have been some fears of a come-down following last week's triumph into the FA Trophy semi-finals at the expense of Oxford United as Alan Lewer's men came to town today.
But those concerns were quickly shelved as slick Harriers passed and moved another rival off the park, three goals and it could have been more as Brian Smikle, Finnigan and Darryl Knights all notched to keep Steve Burr's excellent run going.
Speaking after the game, Burr's number two heaped praise on his team mates following the latest success.
For the second straight home game, it was Finners collecting the post-match bubbly after another inspired performance.
Speaking of the 3-0 success, he said: "Particularly in the second half, we really stepped it up and everyone has just been really brave to go and get on the ball and not been scared of making mistakes.
"That's the main thing - that's what we've been asking for and the lads have been doing it out on the pitch, so long may that continue.
"After going to Oxford and getting a great win, the main thing for us was that we followed it up and didn't drop off - we've shown we can take that confidence and use it in a positive way today.
"Winning breeds confidence and we're full of it at the minute."
Finnigan's goal, which made it 2-0, was an absolute rocket and left Danny Naisbitt with less than absolutely no chance as it nearly ripped a hole in the net.
Typically modest, he admitted he's enjoying some new-found freedom on the pitch but was quick to share the plaudits around.
"It was a good move and the ball went out wide and Chris has put it in," he added, of his goal.
"It's lofted up and I never expected it to reach me, it went that high and I expected a defender to go and head it.
"They didn't get anything on it so I swung my leg and it's rasped into the back of the net so I'm delighted with it!
"We're playing a slightly different formation and the gaffer likes to fill the box with bodies - he's given me that licence now and again.
"Earlier in the season I was playing at the base of a diamond which didn't let me get forward too much, but I'm just enjoying that bit of freedom and the lads are playing really well."
