Steve Burr has given credit to his troops for their fine comeback from being 3-0 down at half-time to claim a point at Mansfield Town on a crazy Saturday afternoon.
A first-half hat-trick at Field Mill from the Stags' Jake Speight looked to have set the home side on their way to a more than comfortable victory.
However, a half-time verbal battering from the gaffer certainly seemed to do the trick as the boys notched twice quickly after the-restart, also netting an equaliser later on to secure an unlikely 3-3 draw.
Burr reflected after the game: "I thought if we could get in at 2-0 [down] we may have a chance, but the third goal they've scored - I've never seen anything like it.
"[But] I cannot fault their effort for the second half. They were playing for a lot of pride, and to get something out of a game like this; I have to give them credit for the second half, but the first half is not what I expect from a team."
Asked just what it was he had said during the interval, Burr added: "You're right up here in the stand, in the gods, and I'm surprised you didn't hear me.
"I wasn't happy and I just said to them that for the second half, whether it's for me or yourselves, go out there with a bit of pride to try and get something out of the game if possible.
"I felt at half-time we may have been looking at five or six and that's disappointing, but they came out, we shifted things round and to be fair to them they gave themselves a chance.
"At the end of the day we got a point out of it but we could have actually won the game!"
