THE Aggborough Stadium dressing room is 'buzzing' after Harriers got back to winning ways in style against Halifax Town today, that's the view of assistant manager Neil Howarth.

Speaking after this afternoon's 3-1 success, Howarth said; "It was a massive moment of the season for us at half-time, we'd played poorly in the first half and had one foot out of the trophy as well as a couple of bad results in the league.

"It's been a horrible week this week but everyone has stuck together, and I mean everybody; from the Chairman to the players and the supporters.

"It just shows that our season isn't over - we've got a good honest set of players here and they responded brilliantly in the second half."

Harriers are back in Trophy action in just a fortnight but there are two crucial league games against Gravesend and today's visitors in Halifax to get through, and as Howarth explained, it'll take more than a seven or eight point gap to keep them out of the running in the Conference.

He added: "We're not looking at the league table and thinking we're out of that yet.

"We've had three defeats and amongst that has been one poor performance and two decent ones.

"If we get a couple more wins in the league, we'll be back where we were this time last month and within striking distance."

"We've had a little dip but the lads are buzzing in there."
