Looking to travel by car? Matlock's suggested route to the ground from Kidderminster:

Either M42, A42, M1 to leave at J28. Follow signs Derby, Matlock on A38. After approx. 2 miles leave at Matlock turn at Alfreton.

Follow A615 road through Oakerthorpe, Wessington and Tansley before entering Matlock. You will pass a filling station on your left at a crossroads. Continue straight ahead, ground on your right in approx. 300 yards.

OR--A38 from Birmingham via outskirts of Lichfield, Burton, Derby, up to Alfreton, then as above. You can enter on A6 leaving A38 at Derby but I would suggest the other routes above.
