Harriers have been handed tricky opening ties in the 2010/11 Midland Youth Cup following the draw this morning.

The AGM of the Midland Youth Cup was held at Walsall FC today, and amongst the items on the agenda was the draw for this term's competition.

Harriers took Football League opposition in the form of Chesterfield all the way last term before eventually making an exit with an agonising extra-time defeat.

This term's campaign will start with an equally tough ask; Harriers drawn away at Port Vale.

The game will be played before 30 September, with the winner to go on and face the victors of the game between Walsall and Grimsby Town.
