Kidderminster Harriers FC Player Profiles

Posted 16th July 2012 at 09:49 pm

Give or take a gap of four years, goalkeeper Danny Lewis has established himself as part of the furniture here at Aggborough having first joined in 2004.

With more than 100 Harriers appearances to his name, shot-stopper Lewis is now widely established as one of the most experienced custodians in the Conference.

He actually began his professional career here in Worcestershire having first signed with the club in 2004, a two-year spell ending with his release as the club struggled to adapt to life outside the Football League.

But Lewis didn’t have any difficulty adapting to life away from Aggborough as he excelled with the likes of Moor Green and Redditch in the following years before eventually returning for a second spell in the summer of 2010.

Over the last four years he’s confirmed his status as a favourite with the Harriers fans and only a serious injury in 2011 prevented his appearance total from climbing towards the double century.
