Bradley ready for County test

Dan looks ahead to this weekend…

Dan Bradley

DAN BRADLEY is backing an improving Harriers side to go to Stockport County and impress this weekend.

Edgeley Park has long been one of the toughest venues in non-league, and it’s our next port of call in National League North.

While County may have been seen as underachievers in recent seasons, their stature is not lost on Bradley who knows full well that there’s a tough afternoon in store this weekend.

However, the former Tamworth man also knows the team are capable of putting in a strong showing of their own.

“Over the last few years Stockport have been strong,” he said.

“They just missed out on the play-offs last season so it will be another tough game.

“But every game in the league this year is tough and we have to adjust.

“I think we are doing that a lot better now and our run shows that.”

“…the team has come together and started gelling, the performances are showing.”  Dan Bradley

Harriers have slowly and steadily put a run of results together in league and cup.

The team may not be miles clear at the top of the table, but progress is most definitely there.

“It’s well documented that the team wasn’t put together in pre-season,” added Bradley.

“But since the team has come together and started gelling, the performances are showing.

“It’s a squad game and I’m struggling to get a place at the minute – fair play to the lads because they’re doing well.

“We’ll keep going and come back [on Saturday] and get a result.”
