HARRIERS are back in action when they travel to Bradford (Park Avenue) on Saturday, ko 3pm.

The meeting is one of two sides who, in terms of a win, are looking to get themselves off the mark in this National League North Season.

Avenue have tasted defeat on two occasions, while Harriers have one defeat and one draw to their name from two games.

The poor start at the Horsfall Stadium has led to a change in management, with tomorrow's fixture being the first for new gaffer Marcus Law and assistant, Lee Fowler.

Goalkeeper Cameron Gregory's thoughts:

“They've lost two games now so all they've got is to try and fight to win the [next] game.

"I wouldn't say we're in a similar position, but it's the feeling of drawing a game we could have won, and losing on Tuesday night.

"We need to pick ourselves up especially, to definitely win on Saturday."

Boss John Pemberton disregarding Avenue's start:

“It doesn't matter what they've done before.

"If they've shipped ten goals, they obviously want to be harder to beat.

"But I've got enough to worry about with my players, and getting them prepared properly and making sure they're organised."

Team news

Harriers will likely be without Jimmy O'Connor on Saturday.

O'Connor has been struggling with a knee issue this week and is not expected to feature.

Head-to-Head

Harriers and Bradford (Park Avenue) now meet regularly in the league, but their first meetings were contested in the FA Cup and FA Trophy - over a short period of time!

October 2013 saw the first ever meeting between the two, in the FA Cup, in a tie Harriers won after a replay.

They were paired together again just a month later in the FA Trophy, before meeting yet again in that competition one season further on.

The two have met in league matches since 2016, and have also squared off in the National League North play-offs.

Harriers have won six of the 11 meetings with Avenue in all competitions.
