​HARRIERS return to Aggborough on Tuesday evening as Gloucester City make the short trip to Worcestershire.

The meeting is the first between the two sides since the 16/17 season, The Tigers being transferred to the National League South during the interim, before their return to the North ahead of the new campaign.

Harriers will be looking to add to Saturday's 3-0 victory over Bradford (Park Avenue) which, arriving in the third game, was the first win of the season.

Declan Weeks on a busy start to the season, and the impact of the Harriers fans:

"We were disappointed last week and we felt we should have had at least six points - well, probably six points as we didn't really show up against AFC Telford United - but if we get the result against Gloucester then things will start to look a lot better.

"We've watched Gloucester and the Gaffer has put forward his game plan, hopefully we can put it into action.

"During the first game of the season, the fans were brilliant and really helped us in the second half - that helped create a lot of momentum, and hopefully that will be the same throughout the season."

Boss John Pemberton ahead of Gloucester:

“We're trying to do back-to-back wins, but we've got a group of players that I'm asking to go again.

"I'm asking a lot of them, so we've got to make sure that they recover properly.

"I think going again is a lot easier after getting three points on the Saturday.

"It will be another tough on on Tuesday, but one that we are looking forward to."

Team news

Jimmy O'Connor is likely to remain out with a niggling knee injury, while Tom Palmer won't be available and will continue to be rested following a recent head injury.

Pemberton admitted after Saturday's game that they'll assess the fitness of Correy Davidson after he was forced off at Bradford.
