Pre-season: The guide

Pre-season friendly matches head to Aggborough in July – here’s all you need to know

Pre-season isn’t far away! Don’t forget you can catch a range of pre-season fixtures at Aggborough as we warm-up for the new campaign.

Four Football League sides will come to Worcestershire to contest tasty-looking encounters as part of a busy warm-up programme.

Here’s what you need to know:

WHO’S COMING TO TOWN?

Our pre-season games are headlined by the visit of Aston Villa to Aggborough. Steve Bruce’s men only narrowly missed out on a return to the Premier League last season and will now come to Kidderminster as they prepare for another assault on the Championship.

Just as last year, it’ll the be the first-team squad coming from Villa Park – with their full-strength line-up being cut in half to face both Harriers and AFC Telford United.

Also joining us will be League One side Burton Albion who’ll bring their first-team squad, while West Bromwich Albion and Birmingham City will visit with XI sides featuring both first team U23 players.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

Admission for the game against Aston Villa will be £12 for adults, £6 concessions and £2 for U16s for all supporters, while admission for the other pre-season friendlies will be £10 for adults, £5 concessions and £2 U16s.

IS THERE A DEAL TO BE HAD?

Yes – for the games against Burton Albion, Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion, fans will be able to make a saving by getting three games for the price of two. Simply head to Aggborough and purchase three tickets for £20 adults, £10 concessions and £2 for U16s.

WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS?

Aside from the deal above which will mean you’d need to grab your tickets ahead of the game, you’ll be able pay cash admission for the games on the day of each match. Home fans will be able to purchase Main Stand tickets for games online in advance.

WHAT ARE THE DATES?

You can find our full pre-season fixture list on our Fixtures page – also keep an eye on our U23/XI fixtures which will detail the other locations you can find the Harriers in action this summer.

IS THERE HOSPITALITY?

For the game against Aston Villa, hospitality packages are available at just £15 per person on top of your match admission – and for that you can enjoy a splendid three-course meal prior to the game in the Aggborough Suite, car parking, match day programmes and more. There is now only limited availability, however, so if you’re interested please book up soon – E-mail Helen or call 01562 823 931.

ARE WE PLAYING AWAY?

Yes – a Harriers U23/XI side will meet Alvechurch as Harriers look to make a third consecutive Worcestershire Senior Cup final. This semi-final meeting takes place on 17th July. We’ll also wrap up our pre-season programme away from Aggborough when we visit Solihull Moors on 28th July.
